Age Requirement

  • You must be 21 years or older to purchase alcohol from this website.

  • An adult signature (21+) and valid ID are required upon delivery. UPS will not leave packages unattended.


Order Processing Times

  • Orders placed Monday–Friday before 4 PM PST ship within 3–5 business days after processing.

  • Orders placed after business hours, weekends, or holidays ship 3–5 business days from the next business day.

  • No shipments are delivered on Saturday or Sunday.

  • All orders ship from Southern California.


Shipping Methods (UPS Only)

We ship exclusively through UPS.

Available UPS services at checkout:

  • UPS Ground

  • UPS 2nd Day Air

  • UPS Next Day Air

Transit times begin once your order has shipped and do not include processing time.

Delivery Requirements

  • UPS requires a valid 21+ adult signature for all alcohol orders.

  • UPS will not leave packages at the door under any circumstances.

  • To avoid missed deliveries, we highly recommend shipping to a business address.


Shipping Insurance

We offer optional shipping insurance at checkout.

Shipping insurance covers:

  • Loss in transit (package never delivered / lost by UPS)

  • Damage during transit (excluding minor cosmetic issues or leakage)

If Shipping Insurance Was Purchased

If your package is lost or arrives damaged:

  • You must notify us within 3 business days of the delivery date or expected delivery date

  • You must provide:

    • Photos of damage (if applicable)

    • Your order number

    • UPS tracking number

Approved claims will be replaced or refunded based on insurance terms.

If Shipping Insurance Was Declined

Liquor On Broadway is not responsible for:

  • Lost packages

  • Damaged packages

  • Weather-related damage

  • Leakage

Since all UPS alcohol shipments require an adult signature, theft after delivery does not apply.

Insurance is strongly recommended for rare, limited, or high-value bottles.


Failed Delivery, Missed Signature & Returned Shipments

If UPS cannot deliver your package because:

  • No adult (21+) is available to sign

  • The package is refused

  • The address is incorrect or undeliverable

  • Delivery attempts are missed

UPS will return the shipment to our warehouse.

Refunds for Returned Shipments

If your order is returned to us:

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

  • Return shipping fees from UPS will be deducted

  • A 15% restocking fee will be deducted

  • Only the product cost (minus deductions) will be refunded once returned in good condition

Reshipping Returned Orders

Returned orders may be reshipped if:

  • A new UPS shipping fee is paid

  • A valid, deliverable address is provided

We recommend using a business address to avoid further failed attempts.


Where We Ship

We ship within the United States only.
We cannot ship to:

  • PO Boxes

  • APO/FPO addresses

Non-California residents are responsible for complying with their local/state alcohol shipping laws.


State Law Compliance

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are legally allowed to receive alcohol in your state/county

  • You are ordering for personal consumption only

  • You and the recipient are 21+

  • You comply with all local, state, and federal alcohol regulations

You agree to indemnify and hold Liquor On Broadway harmless from any issues arising from violating your state’s alcohol shipping laws.


Weather Conditions

Extreme heat or cold can damage alcohol during transit.
We are not responsible for weather-related damage during ground shipping.

If needed, you may request that we hold your order until weather improves.


Taxes

  • Orders shipped within California are subject to 7.75% CA sales tax.

  • Orders shipped outside California may be subject to state or local taxes based on destination.


Packaging & Damages

All shipments are packed securely.

If your order arrives damaged:

  • You must notify us within 3 business days

  • Photos of the damaged items must be provided

  • The damaged product must be returned to be eligible for a refund or replacement

Leaks are not covered under our damage policy.


Title to Goods

Title to all goods passes to you in California when UPS takes possession of the package.
Once shipped, the products belong to you, and you authorize us to appoint UPS as your carrier.
