Color: Rich bright gold with warm honey highlights from the triple port cask finishing.

Nose: Clear maritime notes of sea air, oyster shell, salt, and sand dune on a spicy peaty base, with orchard fruits, pears, apples, peaches, cherries, white grape, dark fruit, dry tannins, burning rosehip tea leaves, burning rosemary, dates, figs, tonka bean, and nutmeg, like cooking fruit on a charcoal barbecue by the seaside.

Palate: Creamy smooth and richly fruity, with red apple, cherry, cranberry, raspberry, morello cherry, dried cherry, dark chocolate, salted caramel creaminess, banoffee pie, briny sweetness, and the unmistakable Talisker peppery peat building through the mid palate.

Finish: Long and intensely spicy, with waves of saltiness, smoke, clove studded smoked ham, more smoke and sea, cinnamon dusted pastries, jam, and a powerful warming oak trail.
