Gran Patron Piedra is one of the very old tequillas. The "extra añejo" are usually aged for more than 3 years in small casks. It is made following the "Tahona" method. The best agaves from the Jalisco highlands are selected.

Amateur spirits collector, GOT fan…Why the F not. If not for the ridiculous postage charge (my opinion), would have been a perfect deal since some of them are dried up in my area. Now they will sit for eternity on a shelf until I kick the bucket., then some low life will pop the top and endure the mediocre tastes of this gimmicky scotch…
This batch is getting very difficult to find and I spent the extra dollars to get it. I applaud their care in wrapping the bottle to ensure the clumsy delivery person would not accidentally break the bottle. The bottle was wrapped in bubble wrap and surrounded by foam peanuts. This may have been able to survive a fall from the forth floor without damage. Thank you for the extra care, I will be sharing this bottle with my dad on Father’s Day.
