WhistlePig x Liquid Death GraveStock is the boundary pushing collaboration between Vermont's most awarded rye distillery and the irreverent canned water brand that built a cult on "Murder Your Thirst." Released June 2025, GraveStock is a high wheat whiskey distilled in Indiana, then aged for several years in traditional charred American oak before transferring to custom 380 gallon casket shaped foeders at the WhistlePig farm for a final resting period. The whiskey is then proofed to 86 with Liquid Death Mountain Water sourced from American mountain ranges, marking the first time a whiskey has been finished in a casket shaped vessel and the first alcoholic product ever proofed with a branded mountain water. The result is a soft, wheat forward sipper with subtle rye character underneath, bottled in classic WhistlePig flask glassware with a coffin emblazoned Liquid Death center label. A one time limited release built equally for the bar cart and the collector shelf.

Color: Golden amber with warm honey highlights.
Nose: Toasted oak, vanilla, and soft caramel lifted by honeysuckle, light citrus zest, and a whisper of baked wheat dough.
Palate: Silky wheat sweetness up front, evolving into honey, baked bread, and biscotti with gentle baking spice and a faint echo of rye underneath.
Finish: Medium length, clean and crisp. Charred oak, toasted almond, and a soft sweet fade with notable mineral clarity from the mountain water.
What makes GraveStock unique? Two industry firsts. It is the first whiskey ever finished in a casket shaped foeder, a custom 380 gallon vessel built specifically for this release. It is also the first alcoholic product ever proofed with a branded mountain water, in this case Liquid Death Mountain Water.
Is GraveStock a wheat whiskey or a rye blend? WhistlePig classifies it as a high wheat whiskey. Some retailers describe a subtle rye accent in the profile, but the dominant grain and category is wheat, aged in charred American oak and finished in the custom casket foeder.
Where was GraveStock distilled and aged? The wheat whiskey was distilled in Indiana, then aged for several years in traditional charred American oak before being transferred to WhistlePig's farm in Shoreham, Vermont for the casket foeder finishing and bottling.
How does this compare to WhistlePig's rye whiskeys? GraveStock is softer and lower proof than WhistlePig's rye lineup. Compare with the core WhistlePig 10 Year Rye at 100 proof, the entry tier PiggyBack 6 Year Bourbon, or the age stated WhistlePig 18 Year Double Malt. GraveStock is a creative one off rather than part of the core lineup.
