Single barrel and bottled at barrel strength, the Juggernaut is straight rye whiskey aged in new American oak and finished in custom Thandai barrels, seasoned with the traditional Indian spice blend used in the chilled, milky beverage enjoyed during the Holi festival. WhistlePig sourced the Thandai spices directly from Delhi's historic Khari Baoli market, the largest wholesale spice market in Asia, including saffron, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, and other aromatic ingredients used to season the finishing barrels. The result is a rye whiskey with the structural backbone of WhistlePig's mature stock layered with warm baking spice, floral perfume, and a creamy nutty texture inspired by Thandai itself.
