Jack Daniel's 125th Anniversary of the Red Dog Saloon is a limited edition Tennessee Sour Mash Whiskey released in the summer of 2017 to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the opening of Jack Daniel's Red Dog Saloon in Lynchburg, Tennessee. In 1892, Jack Daniel opened not one but two saloons in the small Lynchburg town square, the Red Dog Saloon and the White Rabbit Saloon, both of which quickly became favorites of the locals. This commemorative release follows the format of the 120th Anniversary White Rabbit Saloon bottle and is dressed in vintage saloon era label artwork with elaborate gold scrollwork on a dark backdrop. The whiskey inside is classic Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 character, charcoal mellowed through ten feet of sugar maple in the signature Lincoln County Process before being matured in handcrafted American oak barrels. Bottled at 43% ABV in a 750ml format, this release is a defining collector piece for fans of Jack Daniel's heritage, anniversary bottles, and Lynchburg history.

What was the Red Dog Saloon? The Red Dog Saloon was one of two saloons opened by Jack Daniel in Lynchburg, Tennessee in 1892, alongside the White Rabbit Saloon. Both establishments were on the Lynchburg town square and became key gathering places tied to Jack Daniel's early whiskey history.
What is the Lincoln County Process? The Lincoln County Process is the defining step that distinguishes Tennessee Whiskey from bourbon. The new whiskey is slowly filtered through ten feet of sugar maple charcoal before barreling, a step Jack Daniel's calls charcoal mellowing.
How limited is this release? The 125th Anniversary of the Red Dog Saloon was produced as a one time commemorative release in 2017 and is no longer in production, joining a growing collection of Jack Daniel's anniversary and saloon themed limited editions sought by collectors.
