Wolfburn Single Malt Scotch Whisky is produced at Wolfburn distillery in Thurso. It is the most northerly distillery on Scottish mainland. The original distillery dates back to 1821, although it closed down in the 1860s and it wasn't until 150 years after its closure that the new Wolfburn distillery was designed and built. The first Wolfburn Single Malt Scotch Whisky was bottled on site and released in 2016.
