For 2026, Hennessy presents four limited editions celebrating the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Horse — an animal associated in Chinese culture with vitality, strength, success, and forward momentum. The most prestigious of the four is this Paradis edition, created in collaboration with Xu Zhen, one of the most celebrated contemporary Chinese artists in the world. Known for his layered, dynamic visual language that bridges Eastern philosophy and modern Western aesthetics, Xu Zhen transformed the iconic Paradis decanter into something entirely new: a luminous copper lacquered vessel adorned with a majestic galloping horse rendered in sweeping brushstroke lines, capped with a red bonded leather clip embossed with a gilded herd motif. The result radiates energy, movement, and good fortune. The presentation is a precious red oak box designed for display as much as for gifting.
Inside the bottle is the timeless Hennessy Paradis — created in 1979 by Master Blender Maurice Fillioux as a "symphonic" blend of over 100 of the finest and rarest eaux-de-vie from Hennessy's legendary Paradis cellars, some aged for many decades. Known as a cognac lover's cognac, Paradis is defined by its extraordinary grace, floral finesse, and silky texture. Bottled at 40% ABV, it is a Cognac of delicacy and depth in equal measure.

Color: Deep amber gold with rich copper highlights — the external lacquer and the Cognac itself glow in the same register
Nose: Refined and floral — jasmine, dried flowers, honeyed blossom, and candied citrus lead. Gentle baking spice and a thread of honey weave through. Warm and inviting without any heaviness.
Palate: Velvety, silky, and harmonious. Waves of dried apricot, preserved orange, and soft toffee are balanced by delicate oak and warm spice. Depth and delicacy coexist — the Paradis hallmark.
Finish: Exceptionally long and smooth. A satiny impression of spice and dried fruits lingers long after the last sip.
