The artwork was created by Alexandra O'Neill, founder of the New York luxury fashion house Markarian, whose name appears on the neck wrap. The label features a delicate garland stripe of winter berries and alternating stars set against a muted sage backdrop reminiscent of winter foliage, with subtle candy stripe references that nod to nostalgic holiday traditions while keeping an understated sophistication. The color story came directly from the distillery itself: the evergreens on the grounds, the amber tones of the bourbon and the historic buildings at Versailles, Kentucky. The palate is rounded and full, layering caramel, honey and dark chocolate with cinnamon, nutmeg, citrus peel and a gentle wave of rye spice. The finish is long and silky, closing with toffee, nutmeg and toasted oak. It is excellent neat, over a large cube, or in a holiday Old Fashioned, and pairs beautifully with spiced cake, pecan pie or dark chocolate.
