Kentucky Owl 10 Year The Last Rye Batch No. 4 is the final release in the celebrated Kentucky Owl rye series, bottled by Master Blender Dixon Dedman in Bardstown, Kentucky. Founded by Dedman in 2014 to revive his great great grandfather's pre Prohibition era brand and tagged as "The Wise Man's Rye," Kentucky Owl quickly became one of the most sought after small batch labels in modern American whiskey. Batch 4 is a blend of Kentucky Straight Rye stocks aged between 10 and 13 plus years in new charred oak barrels, drawn from the very last of the original rye inventory that Dedman had been holding back specifically for this finale. Bottled at 112.8 proof and presented in the brand's signature green capped bottle and cylindrical owl illustrated tube, this is the closing chapter of the Kentucky Owl rye series before the brand transitioned to new sourcing under owner Stoli Group. With production permanently ended and primary market stock long since depleted, The Last Rye Batch No. 4 is among the most allocated and collected Kentucky Owl releases ever produced.

Why is it called The Last Rye? Batch 4 was officially designated by Master Blender Dixon Dedman as the final release in the Kentucky Owl rye series, bottling the last stocks of the original rye blend that had continued to mature in inventory until the team determined the blend had reached its peak.
How rare is this release? The Last Rye Batch No. 4 was produced in strictly limited quantities and is no longer in production. As the closing chapter of the original Kentucky Owl rye program, primary market allocation cleared quickly and remaining sealed bottles are increasingly difficult to source.
How does Batch 4 compare to earlier Kentucky Owl rye batches? Each batch carries its own unique character based on the specific stocks selected. Batch 4 is widely considered the most mature of the series, drawing from the oldest remaining inventory at 10 to 13 plus years and bottled at 112.8 proof for concentrated intensity.
