Agave ripens every eight years or so which is a very slow process so the skilled Jimadors take great care to find and uproot only those Blue Agave with optimal sugar content. Using a sharp tool called a Coa, they strip away the leaves to reveal the heart of the plant, the piña. After being hand-chopped, the piñas are baked in small brick ovens to ensure they’re cooked evenly and then crushed by a two-ton volcanic stone Tahona wheel and a roller mill. Their small-batch spirit is then bottled, but their attention to detail doesn’t stop there. Whether they are sustainably harvesting fine Portuguese cork or having the masters of French crystal, Lalique, design a beautiful crystal stopper, it must be perfect. Their entire tequila-making process takes place at Hacienda Patrón, where only make Patrón is made. Mosy importantly the success of the Patron distillery is in the people involved in making their tequila – 60 hands from beginning to end. The Patron XO Café Incendio is produced in Mexico’s Tabasco region and is a hot and fiery spirit.

Love this

If you’ve never tried it, you can make the best Baby Guinness with some original Bailey’s. It’s called baby Guinness, because the Bailey’s makes the head in the shot glass when you pour it in (you use the back of a small spoon, pouring slowly to make the head). I’ve been searching all over for this Patron XO Cafe. I’m beyond thrilled to have finally found it.

Delicious, but pricey

Delicious - excellent coffee + chocolate + chili flavor. Price was quite high but not unreasonable given the product is discontinued. Quick shipping, well packed.

Nice and spicy but hard to get

Bought this as a gift, super hard to find as it’s discontinued but really tasty if you can get your hands on some.

When I first got the sample bottle I thought yuck chocolate and spice. I t remained in my refrigerator for years. Then I finally tried it. Oh my gosh the mixture of spice and chocolate was delicious. I immediately ordered the large bottle and look forward to drinking it all with my wife.
