madame-backlash-blood-orange-orange-blossom-gin-750ml
Madame Backlash Blood Orange & Orange Blossom Gin 750ml

Madame Backlash Blood Orange and Orange Blossom Gin is a bright, expressive craft gin from Black Band Distillery in Peoria, Illinois, a city with a distilling heritage so deep it was once known as the Whiskey Capital of the World. Made in small batches and finished with natural flavours, it captures two sides of the orange tree: the juicy, sun ripened intensity of blood orange and the delicate, perfumed lift of orange blossom. The result is a gin that feels both refreshing and sophisticated, with citrus and floral notes layered over a clean botanical base rather than masking it. Bottled at 86 proof, it has the backbone to carry through tonic and cocktails without losing its aromatic character. The nose opens with an immediate burst of ripe blood orange, both sweet and tangy, followed by a soft wave of orange blossom that adds elegance. The palate is juicy and vibrant, with sun kissed citrus wrapped in a gentle floral bouquet, before a crisp, refreshing finish. The bottle is a showpiece in its own right, featuring a dreamy illustration of a woman crowned with flowers and songbirds in warm peach tones. Serve it well chilled in a copa glass with premium tonic and a twist of blood orange, or use it to brighten a Negroni, a French 75 or a citrus spritz.

ABV / Proof

ABV

43%

Proof

86

Size

750ml

Country

United States

Region

Peoria, Illinois

Type

Gin with Natural Flavors

Flavors

Blood orange and orange blossom

Distillery

Black Band Distillery, Peoria, Illinois

Tasting Notes

Color: Crystal clear.

Nose: Ripe blood orange, sweet and tangy, with a soft wave of orange blossom.

Palate: Juicy and vibrant, with sun ripened citrus wrapped in gentle floral notes.

Finish: Crisp and refreshing, with lingering zest.

FAQ

Who makes Madame Backlash Gin?

Black Band Distillery in Peoria, Illinois.

Is it made with natural flavors?

Yes.
