The older barrels bring depth, structure and mature oak, while the double-finished Jim Beam adds dried fruit, richness and toasted sweetness. True to the series, it is bottled uncut and unfiltered at a robust 122.6 proof. Expect a nose of dark fruit, caramel, toasted oak and warm baking spice. The palate is rich and layered, with dried cherry, brown sugar, sherry-soaked raisin, vanilla and peanut brittle. The finish is long and warming, with lingering oak, spice and toffee.
